Roots in Northern Minnesota.

Chapter 1: As the son of two park rangers, I built a lot of forts as a kid.

Chapter 2: After finishing undergrad I moved to the Bay Area, earned an Design Strategy MBA, and worked for Autodesk, a software giant.

Chapter 3: Looking for more simplicity, I gave away most of what I owned and moved into my Tacoma, living nomadically with my dog Bea.

Chapter 4: After five years and a quarter million miles on the road, I landed in Bend, Oregon, where I plan to stay for a while.

Chapter 5: I’m currently working on my first book, shooting commercial projects, and writing for publications, while trying to not lose sight of the important things.
